CHIEF OFFICER FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND INCLUSION.

THANK YOU. SHE'LL BE MAKING A PRESENTATION.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN EQUITY AND INCLUSION OVER MONEY.

THANK YOU, TRUSTEE FLORES.

AND JUST LIKE TRUSTEE FLORES SAID THAT WE'RE DISCUSSING HOW WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE.

WE KNOW IT'S BEEN A YEAR, JUST OVER A YEAR, AND THAT YOU'RE CURIOUS AS TO HOW WE'RE DOING. SO LET'S GIVE YOU THIS SHARE WITH YOU WHAT OUR THREE FOCUS AREAS ARE.

JUST TO REFRESH YOUR MIND, BECAUSE IT'S BEEN A LITTLE BIT SINCE WE CAME UP TO PRESENT FOR YOU AND HOW AND THE FOCUS THAT WE HAVE IN THE THREE AREAS FOR SUSTAINABILITY, WE'RE ENHANCING THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND WE'RE USING THE ASU STARS AND I'M GOING TO SAY WHAT SHE STANDS FOR. IT'S ALSO ON THE PAGE.

I KNOW IT'S A SMALL WRITING FOR THE AUDIENCE, BUT IT STANDS FOR THE ASSOCIATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF SUSTAINABILITY IN HIGHER EDUCATION, AND IT'S FOR SUSTAINABILITY, TRACKING ASSESSMENT AND RATING SYSTEM.

SO WE DECIDED TO USE THAT SPECIFIC THAT SPECIFIC RATING TO TALK ABOUT THE EFFORTS WHEN IT COMES TO THE AI FOR DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION.

WE ARE TALKING ABOUT HOW WE'RE MAKING OUR EFFORTS IN CONTRIBUTING TO AN INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT AND EMBEDDING IT INTO THE CULTURE OF DALLAS COLLEGE.

WHEN IT COMES TO SUPPLIER DIVERSITY, WE'RE PROVIDING EQUAL ACCESS TO BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES THROUGHOUT DALLAS COLLEGE, IN OUR DIFFERENT CAMPUSES, THE FUNCTIONAL STRUCTURE TO SUPPORT THOSE FOCUS AREAS THAT ONCE AGAIN WITHIN THE FOCUS OF OUR THREE AREAS. AND HERE YOU SEE HOW WE HAVE THE OPERATIONS, HOW WE HAVE THE DIFFERENT PORTIONS OF IT IN EDUCATION, IN SPECIAL EVENTS, ETC..

BUT WHAT HOW IS THAT REFLECTED IN STAFFING? SO TODAY I'D LIKE TO INTRODUCE YOU TO THREE NEW STAFF MEMBERS THAT IF THEY COULD COME FORWARD, AS I CALL YOUR NAME, NEAL COFFMAN.

AND WELCOME TO ALL THREE OF YOU.

WE'RE EXCITED TO HAVE YOU ON THESE POSITIONS, AND WE KNOW YOU'RE GOING TO DO GREAT THINGS IN OUR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND PROGRAMS. THANK YOU. TILL WE GET SOME FISH OUT AT THE MOUNTAIN VIEW PONDS.

SURE. WE GO FISHING.

THERE WE GO FISHING. OH, IT SHOULD BE SOME NICE KOI, NICE DECORATIVE FISH.

OH, THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE TALKING. YEAH.

YEAH, WE GOT A GREAT POND, GREAT WATERFALLS AND EVERYTHING.

I KNOW YOU CAN FIX THAT ALL UP.

I'M. I CAN FIGURE IT OUT.

ALL RIGHT. THANK YOU FOR THAT QUESTION.

I DON'T REALLY WORK WITH PLANTS, BUT THEY LIKE TO HAVE SOME PLACE I.

OH, THEY EAT.

OH, THEY EAT.

THAT'S A PLASTIC SPORT.

SO LET'S CLARIFY WHO AND HOW WE SERVE IN TERMS OF EMPLOYEES.

WE ARE TALKING ABOUT PROVIDING BEST PRACTICES IN TERMS OF DEI DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION AND SUSTAINABILITY RELATED EFFORTS IN TERMS OF STUDENTS AND FAMILIES.

[00:10:05]

WE'RE PROVIDING INCLUSIVE AND CULTURALLY APPROPRIATE EFFORTS AND LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THEM. IN TERMS OF SUPPLIERS, SUPPLIERS, WE'RE PROVIDING EQUAL ACCESS TO BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES WITH DALLAS COLLEGE AND IN TERMS OF COMMUNITY, WE'RE DEMONSTRATING OUR COMMITMENT THROUGH PROGRAMS AND ALIGNMENT WITH DIVERSE COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS.

HIGHLIGHTS FOR TODAY IN TERMS OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND INCLUSION WILL FOLLOW THE ORDER IN THIS PARTICULAR SLIDE, STARTING WITH THE BASELINE TO SHARE WITH YOU WHERE WE ARE CURRENTLY IN TERMS OF OUR THREE FOCUS AREAS AND SO ON WITHIN THE NEXT UPCOMING PARTS. AND PLEASE BEAR WITH ME WITH THIS LINE.

I KNOW WE HAVE A LOT OF INFORMATION TO COVER WITH THIS SLIDE, BUT WE HAVE A LOT OF EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE WITH YOU TODAY.

SO WE STARTED WITH LOOKING AT OUR CHALLENGE.

IN TERMS OF OUR CHALLENGE, WE WANTED TO ALIGN DALLAS COLLEGE WITH A REPUTABLE ORGANIZATION IN TERMS OF OUR SETTING OF OUR STANDARDS TO DO THE WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO BE CONSIDERED BEST IN CLASS IN TERMS OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND INCLUSION.

WHEN IT CAME TO SUSTAINABILITY.

WE LOOKED AT AC STARS AND I'M REFERRING ONCE AGAIN TO THE ASSOCIATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF SUSTAINABILITY IN HIGHER EDUCATION, SUSTAINABILITY TRACKING ASSESSMENT AND RATING SYSTEM. WE DECIDED TO CHOOSE THIS PARTICULAR ORGANIZATION BECAUSE THEY ARE INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN.

THEY ARE WELL SOUGHT AFTER.

AND THE MOST IMPORTANT PART IS THAT THE STANDARDS THAT THEY FOLLOW ARE STANDARDS THAT WE SEEK TO ACHIEVE WITHIN DALLAS COLLEGE.

WE ALSO TOOK ADVANTAGE OF USING THE ASIA STARS REPORT AND REALIZED THAT THERE WAS A D SECTION WITHIN THAT PARTICULAR TOOL.

AND WE ALSO ARE PRESENTING TODAY WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE WITHIN THAT REPORT.

HOWEVER, OUR CHALLENGE WAS THAT WE DIDN'T HAVE THE SUPPLIER DIVERSITY PART REPRESENTED IN THIS PARTICULAR TOOL AND WE NEEDED TO OBTAIN THE INFORMATION IN A DIFFERENT WAY.

AND WHAT WE DECIDED TO DO WAS TO EMPLOY A CONSULTANT NAMED SUPPLIER HOPE TO PROVIDE US WITH THE NUMBERS AND OUR GUIDANCE WITH REGARDS TO SUPPLIER DIVERSITY.

BUT LET ME EXPLAIN HOW SHE STARTS HERE AND HOW USING THE TOOL GIVES US A DIFFERENT STANDING IN THE COMMUNITY IN THE HIGHER EDUCATION COMMUNITY BY SHOWCASING OUR EFFORTS.

IN THIS CASE, WE HAVE ACHIEVED THE SILVER STATUS.

FUN FACT ABOUT ASHY STARS IS THAT THERE WERE 900 PARTICIPANTS FOR THIS PARTICULAR STATUS IN 40 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD.

I HAVE BEEN TOLD BY BRANDON MARTIN AND BRANDON, PLEASE STAND BECAUSE BRANDON IS THE MANAGER, THE PROJECT MANAGER FOR THE HD STARS REPORT.

THANK YOU. BRANDON IS A DALLAS COLLEGE EMPLOYEE.

YES, HE IS.

BRANDON, CAN YOU STATE YOUR TITLE, PLEASE, IN TERMS OF THE SUSTAINABILITY TEAM? ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FOR SUSTAINABILITY OPERATIONS.

THANK YOU, BRANDON. WHAT HE WHAT WE DIDN'T SHOW IN THIS PARTICULAR SLIDE IS THAT OUT OF THE 900 PARTICIPANTS, ONLY 349 INSTITUTIONS COMPLETED THE APPLICATION AND RECEIVED A RATING.

AND THAT PUTS US WITH SILVER AT THE THIRD PLACE WITH REGARDS TO THIS RATING.

BUT IT'S IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT FOR PLATINUM, THERE WERE ONLY NINE INSTITUTIONS RATED FOR GOLD, 136.

AND THIS IS WORLDWIDE AND FOR SILVER 161.

ONE OF THE OTHER FUN FACTS IS THAT DALLAS COLLEGE IS THE ONLY COLLEGE IN TEXAS THAT HAS RECEIVED THIS RATING.

IN TERMS OF THE STARS THAT WE'RE GOING TO GO IN A DEEPER DOVE WITHIN THE NEXT SLIDES.

I JUST WANTED TO SHARE WHAT OUR RATING WAS, AND IN THIS CASE, WE ACHIEVED 53.56%.

[00:15:03]

I KNOW THAT YOU'RE CURIOUS ABOUT WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET US TO GOLD? SO I'LL LET YOU KNOW STRAIGHT AWAY THAT IT WOULD TAKE US TO BE IN 65% TO BE ABLE TO GET TO THAT GOLD STATUS WHEN IT COMES TO THE ASHY STARS UNDER THE EYE.

IT WAS A VERY SMALL SECTION AND I'LL SHARE WITH YOU THAT WHEN IT COMES TO DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION, THERE IS NOT JUST ONE TOOL OUT THERE THAT SATISFIES ALL THE EFFORTS THAT WE WANT TO BRING TO DALLAS COLLEGE.

SO WE ARE GOING TO BE EXTRACTING PIECES FROM DIFFERENT TOOLS AND USING DIFFERENT TOOLS TO BE ABLE TO BRING A BASELINE FOR WHERE WE WANT TO BE AT DALLAS COLLEGE FOR THIS PARTICULAR TOOL. WE ARE AT 7.81 OUT OF TEN WITH THE SUPPLIER I O WE WANTED TO SHARE AND I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS HAS BEEN THIS INFORMATION HAS NOT BEEN SHARED IN THIS WAY BEFORE.

SO IT'S GOING TO TAKE A LITTLE BIT OF TIME TO EXPLAIN SOME OF THESE NUMBERS WITH THE APPROPRIATE SLIDE. BUT FOR NOW, WHAT YOU'RE SEEING HERE IS THE AMOUNT IN TERMS OF SUPPLIER DIVERSITY AND SMALL BUSINESSES.

AND I HAVE HERE SMALL BUSINESSES DEPICTED IN PURPOSE BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH SOME PEOPLE DO NOT CONSIDER THAT AS PART OF SUPPLIER DIVERSITY, WE ARE HERE TO CREATE A POSITIVE IMPACT IN OUR COMMUNITY, IN THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THIS COMMUNITY.

TO BE ABLE TO DO THAT, WE NEED TO CONSIDER OUR SMALL BUSINESSES.

ALSO, FROM THE BUSINESS PERSPECTIVE, YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT A SMALL BUSINESS IS ESTABLISHED A LOT FASTER, SO IT IS MORE CONVENIENT FOR SMALL SUPPLIERS WHO HAVE A LACK OF TIME AND A LACK OF STAFF TO BE ABLE TO DECIDE WHO DO THEY WANT TO SELL THEIR SERVICE OR PRODUCT. FOR EXAMPLE, THE D.O.T., WHICH IS THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, IT IS A ONE PAGE DOCUMENT TO GET THAT CERTIFICATION IN TERMS OF A SMALL BUSINESS.

SO YOU CAN IMAGINE WHY THEY WOULD WANT TO, INSTEAD OF GOING FOR ONE OF THE OTHER CERTIFICATIONS, START OUT WITH THE SMALL BUSINESS CERTIFICATION.

SO LET'S START WITH BASELINE ONE.

IN THIS PARTICULAR SLIDE, WE'RE TAKING A DEEPER DOVE INTO THE FIVE CATEGORIES THAT THE STARS RATES TO FIND OUT YOUR SPECIFIC EFFORTS WHERE YOU ARE IN YOUR SPECIFIC EFFORTS.

SO WE CAN SEE HERE THAT IN TERMS OF INNOVATION AND LEADERSHIP, WE ARE DOING EXTREMELY WELL. WE ARE ALSO DOING VERY WELL IN ACADEMICS AND THEN WE HAVE OUR THREE OPPORTUNITIES TO GO BACK TO.

IN THE COMING WEEKS, OUR SUSTAINABILITY TEAM WILL BE VISITING WITH THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS TO PROVIDE US WITH ALL OF THIS INFORMATION, AND WE'LL BE DISCUSSING WHAT ARE SOME OF THE OPPORTUNITIES AND WAYS TO BE ABLE TO BRING THOSE EFFORTS TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

YES. YES, YES, MA'AM.

THERE IS A SPECIFIC PRICE FOR EACH OF THOSE DIFFERENT.

YES, THERE IS MORE INFORMATION ON WHAT THE CRITERIA WOULD BE.

WE CAN SEND YOU THE LINK OF THE ENTIRE APPLICATION SO THAT YOU CAN SEE THE FIVE CATEGORIES AND EVERYTHING THAT WE TURNED IN FOR EACH CATEGORY.

SO BRANDON, THE LINK IS ON WHERE IS THE LINK? STARS DOT A SAG AWARD AND WE CAN WE CAN SET THE CRITERIA.

YEAH, BUT I COULDN'T HEAR WHAT YOU WERE SAYING.

OH, I'M NOT SURE I'M FOLLOWING SURE WHAT YOU'RE DOING HERE.

SO BEAR WITH ME FOR A MINUTE.

THIS IS AN ORGANIZATION, CORRECT? YES. AND YOU LEFT IT.

WELL, THEY SAY YOU, BUT THE COLLEGE DISTRICT ELECTED TO BE PART OF THIS ORGANIZATION, TO BASICALLY SET A STANDARD AND A WAY TO EVALUATE OUR EFFORTS IN TERMS OF THE ENTIRE DISTRICT.

AM I STATING THAT CORRECT? YES, MA'AM. YOU KNOW, WE'RE TRYING TO GET TO THE THE DATA IN EACH OF THESE CATEGORIES TO EVALUATE HOW ARE WE DOING TO KIND OF TAKE THE PULSE WHERE WE'VE NOT HAD ACTIONABLE DATA.

[00:20:01]

AND AGAIN, MARISOL HAS BEEN BUILDING THIS EFFORT OVER THE LAST YEAR OR SO.

BUT WE DIDN'T WE DIDN'T WE HAD DATA IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT AREAS FOR CATEGORIES, BUT WE DIDN'T HAVE A WAY TO KIND OF EVALUATE IT AS ONE.

AND THAT'S WHAT WHAT ACTION CAN HELP US DO IS THIS EARLY ORGANIZATION IS AFTER THERE THERE ARE SOME LAWS THAT WE DETERMINE AND THIS WAS THE ONE THAT YES, THERE ARE OTHERS, BUT THIS IS THE ONE THAT IS IN HIGH STANDING IN THE SUSTAINABILITY COMMUNITY AT A GLOBAL LEVEL. AND JAPAN HAS BROAD EXPERIENCE WITH HIGHER ED INSTITUTIONS AS WELL.

SO THAT ALSO HELPS US BE ABLE TO COMPARE HOW DO WE DO AS AS WE LOOK AT OTHERS? BECAUSE OUR FOLLOW UP HERE IS SOME OF THIS IS JUST REAL INTERESTED WHEN YOU LOOK AT OPERATIONS 12.70 AVAILABLE AND I'M ASSUMING THE OH POINTS ARE SET BY ORGANIZATION. AND YOU LOOK AT OUR PERFORMANCE 3.03 VERY, VERY GOOD.

YES, IT'S AN AREA OF OPPORTUNITY.

AND WE'LL BE BRINGING BACK THOSE FINDINGS WITH THE COMMENTS THAT THE GROUP MADE TO US, FOR US TO BE ABLE TO BRING OURSELVES TO THE STANDARD.

WELL, THAT'S YOUR POINT.

THAT'S THAT'S WHERE WE WE HAVEN'T KNOWN, YOU KNOW, ARE WE DOING WELL OR WE'RE NOT DOING WELL? AND THIS IS WHAT THIS REALLY HELPS US IDENTIFY THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE OTHER ONE.

SO OUR GOAL IS TO BASICALLY GET TO THE TOTAL COST POINTS IN EACH ONE OF THESE AREAS.

WELL, I MEAN, I THINK, AGAIN, WE COME IN TO THIS RATING AT THE AT THE SILVER LEVEL AS THEY RATE US. SO THAT TELLS US WE'RE NOT AS BAD AS AS WE COULD BE.

WE'RE NOT THE LOW END, BUT WE'RE NOT AT THE HIGH END EITHER.

AND SO AS WE LOOK AT EACH ONE OF THESE DIFFERENT FUNCTIONAL AREAS, CLEARLY WE WANT TO DO AS AS WELL AS WE CAN IN EACH OF THE AREAS.

AND THAT'S WHERE THE CRITERIA WOULD BE HELPFUL TO ME TO GET MORE IN-DEPTH UNDERSTANDING OF EACH OF. WE'LL BE HAPPY TO REMIND YOU.

WELL, IT ALSO PROVIDES US AN OBJECTIVE BENCHMARK, RIGHT? NOT NOT US TO FIND OUT, BUT AN ORGANIZATION THAT'S BEEN AT THIS, I IMAGINE, SEVERAL YEARS AND AND THROUGH TRIAL AND ERROR HAVE BEEN ABLE TO COME UP WITH WHAT ARE THE IMPORTANT BENCHMARKS TO SAY HOW EARTH LIKE US ARE DOING IN THE SUSTAINABILITY AREA.

WHEN I CAME INTO DONNA'S COLLEGE, WE HAD SEVERAL PRECEDENTS TAKING CARE OF SEVERAL EFFORTS, BUT IT WAS EFFORTS WITHIN A CAMPUS.

NOW WE'RE EVALUATING ALL OF THE EFFORTS TOGETHER AS ONE COLLEGE, AND WE'RE PUTTING ALL OF THOSE EFFORTS THROUGH THIS PROCESS TO SEE WHERE WE ARE IN THOSE EFFORTS AND WHERE WE NEED TO BE TO MAKE IT TRULY A SUSTAINABLE EFFORT.

I DON'T REMEMBER.

IS IT THIS ORGANIZATION THAT YOU PUT IN A REQUEST? NO, IT WAS DIVERSITY SOMETHING BECAUSE I KNOW I SAW A STATEMENT IN THERE THAT SAID THAT IT HAD A DIRECT CORRELATION TO WHAT YOU DID AS BEING EYE TO EYE.

AND I THINK IT'S A IT'S A IS IT A NATIONAL OR A STATE ORGANIZATION? THE ONE THAT YOU SENT ME, THE DIVERSITY IS THIS IS A NATIONAL AND IT'S SPECIFICALLY FOR DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION.

NOW THIS OR THIS PARTICULAR.

HERE. YOU CAN DO AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE.

YES, THEY DO. EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.

RIGHT. DO THEY HAVE AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE? IS THAT CORRECT? YES. EVERY THREE YEARS, YES.

THEY HAVE AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE.

AND SOMETIMES BOARD MEMBERS WILL BE KEYNOTES OR SPEAKERS.

WHAT MEMBERS WILL BE KEYNOTE SPEAKERS OR GUEST SPEAKERS? THAT MIGHT BE AN ORGANIZATION TO ADD TO TRUSTEE TRAVEL.

AND JUST SO YOU KNOW, WE'RE PULLING THAT ITEM FROM THE AGENDA BECAUSE WE'RE GOING TO REWORK THAT LOOK AT THE POLICY.

WE WON'T BE ABLE TO REWORK THE POLICY.

SO BASICALLY, WE HAVE TO PUT THAT ON THE AGENDA BECAUSE IF YOU WANT TO, YOU DECIDE YOU WANT TO GO TO A CONFERENCE AND IT WASN'T ON OUR PRE-APPROVED LIST.

THEN IT HAS TO GO RIGHT FOR THE BOARD.

SO YES, WE'RE DOING SOME POLICY EVALUATION.

THAT'S KIND OF ONE OF THE ONES WE WANT TO TAKE A LOOK AT.

YES. YOU KNOW, AT SOME POINT, I GUESS WE'RE GOING TO I MEAN, DIVERSITY, EQUITY, INCLUSION IN THE THREE PRIORITY AREAS THAT WE'RE FOCUSING ON.

WE'RE GOING TO DEFINE THE METRICS IN OUR STRATEGIC PLAN.

[00:25:03]

RIGHT. I MEAN, WE HAVE WE HAVE THAT AHEAD OF US.

AND, YOU KNOW, THIS IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT MEASUREMENT PARADIGM.

AND TO BE HONEST WITH YOU, I DON'T KNOW WHETHER I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS.

I DON'T KNOW WHETHER I WANT IT AS A BOARD MEMBER.

I DON'T WANT YOU KNOW, I DON'T CARE SO MUCH ABOUT WINNING AWARDS, I MEAN, OR GETTING A MEDAL OR GOING GOLD OR SILVER.

I MEAN, I KNOW THAT WE'RE SPENDING $1,000,000,000 AND ON FACILITIES AND, YOU KNOW, HOW MUCH ARE LEED CERTIFIED AND HOW MUCH HOW MUCH IS THAT GOING TO REDUCE OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT? I MEAN, AND MAYBE THOSE CRITERIA ARE ALL EMBEDDED IN THERE, BUT THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO SEE. I MEAN, I KNOW THAT WE HAVE INEQUITIES IN OUR WORKFORCE, YOU KNOW, IN TERMS OF ETHNICITY.

AND WE'VE BEEN WORKING REALLY, REALLY, REALLY HARD TO ADDRESS THAT.

WE DON'T NEED TO INVENT A NEW DASHBOARD OR MEASUREMENT REGIME FOR THAT.

AND BY THE WAY, WE'VE GOTTEN A BUNCH OF REALLY GOOD DATA IN THE PAST YEAR THAT SHOWS THE PROGRESS THAT WE'RE MAKING.

YOU KNOW, I KNOW THAT IN CONTRACTING WITH MINORITY AND WOMEN AND OTHER TYPES OF SMALL BUSINESSES, YOU KNOW, WE'VE BEEN ASKING FOR AN AVAILABILITY AND DISPARITY STUDY FOR YEARS ON THIS BOARD, AND WE STILL HAVEN'T SEEN IT SO THAT WE CAN COMPARE WHETHER WE ARE ACCESSING PROPORTIONATELY THE SUPPLIERS, THE DIVERSE SUPPLIER BASE.

AND WE DON'T HAVE THAT. AND SO, YOU KNOW, THAT'S WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR ON THIS.

AND AND IF THIS IS A VALUABLE MANAGEMENT TOOL, I THINK, YOU KNOW, INTERNALLY AND WE'LL CHANGE BEHAVIOR INTERNALLY HAVE AT IT.

BUT YOU KNOW IT'S IT'S NOT THE METRICS THAT I THINK WINNING AN AWARD OR GOLD OR SILVER THAT'S NOT WHAT I THINK THAT THE BOARD SHOULD BE SEEING IN TERMS OF WHAT WE'RE EVALUATING. WELL, BUT BY THE SAME TOKEN, TRUST YOU, YOU TALKED ABOUT LEED CERTIFICATION.

THAT'S AN OUTSIDE ORGANIZATION THAT HAS SET STANDARDS WHERE YOU CAN IF YOU GET THAT LEED CERTIFICATION AT WHATEVER LEVELS IT IS, THEN YOU CAN BE COMFORTABLE BECAUSE THAT'S AN OUTSIDE GROUP BY WHICH YOU ARE MEASURED ON THEIR STANDARDS, NOT US SAYING WE'RE LEED CERTIFIED AND WE'RE JUST DECLARING IT, BUT WE'RE NOT BY THE STANDARDS, THE BENCHMARKS.

SO I THINK THIS IS HELPFUL FOR US TO KNOW IN THESE AREAS, ARE WE REALLY SUSTAINABLE? BECAUSE WHO DO WE HAVE ON BOARD THAT REALLY KNOWS ALL THE ASPECTS OF SUSTAINABILITY? WELL, YEAH, THAT'S A GOOD POINT.

BUT YOU KNOW, I WOULD RATHER AS A TRUSTEE, I WOULD RATHER RELY ON OUR JUDGMENT IN BUILDING OUR SCOREBOARD RATHER THAN ANOTHER.

I MEAN, LIKE WE HAD WE HAD THE WE HAD 20 UNITED NATIONS STANDARDS, YOU KNOW, WERE PRESENTED TO US ONE TIME ON SUSTAINABILITY.

I MEAN, YOU KNOW, AS A MEASUREMENT IN THIS AREA, WHERE DOES THAT COME FROM AND WHY IS THAT SOMETHING WE SHOULD WHEN WE'VE GOT SOME HIGHLY ACTIONABLE THING SO THAT WE CAN MEASURE AS A BOARD THAT WE'VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT FOR YEARS THAT WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT HERE TODAY. SO I DON'T THINK THAT THIS PRECLUDES US FROM THAT.

WELL, IN SOME OF THAT, I'LL SAY WE'RE GOING TO GET INTO A LITTLE BIT IN THE PRESENTATION HERE JUST A FEW MINUTES AS WE LOOK AT BIODIVERSITY, OUR CONSTRUCTION SPIN, KIND OF WHERE ARE WE NOW? AND THEN THE UPDATE ON A AND B STUDY AS WELL.

THIS DOESN'T PRECLUDE US IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM OR FASHION FROM WHAT WE'RE DOING AS AN INSTITUTION TO ADDRESS THE PRIORITIES THE BOARD HAS SET IN THESE DIFFERENT AREAS.

THIS IS JUST AN OBJECTIVE OR A STANDARD SET, OBJECTIVE STANDARD SET IN THE AREAS OF SUSTAINABILITY THAT ORGANIZATIONS SHOULD STRIVE FOR.

THAT'S LIKE AN ASPEN INSTITUTE AWARD THAT IF YOU'RE DOING THESE THINGS, YOU'RE THE BEST COMMUNITY COLLEGE IN THE NATION.

WHO WOULDN'T WANT THAT? YOU KNOW, LIKE, WHAT IS IT, SAN ANTONIO COLLEGE.

GOT IT. THIS YEAR, ONLY ONE ONE IN THE NATION GETS AWARDED THAT A YEAR.

THIS IS A WAY FOR US TO OBJECTIVELY BE ABLE TO PUT OUR CASE FORWARD, NOT TO SAY WE SET THE STANDARD AND WE MEASURED OURSELVES AND WE'RE DECLARING OURSELVES.

THIS IS GIVING YOU, AGAIN, AN OBJECTIVE ORGANIZATION THAT SET STANDARDS AND NOT JUST HERE NATIONALLY, BUT INTERNATIONALLY, INTERNATIONAL LEVEL.

AND WE SAY WE WANT TO BE BEST IN CLASS.

WE WANT TO ATTRACT STUDENTS TO COME TO OUR CEC, TO OUR COLLEGE.

THIS IS ONE MORE WAY OF ATTRACTING STUDENTS TO WANT TO BE PART OF AN INSTITUTION THAT IS RECOGNIZED. AND I'M TRUSTEE COME TO YOU ASK FOR SOME DEEPER DOVE INTO THE CRITERIA.

SO HERE YOU HAVE THE SPECIFIC CRITERIA FOR DTI.

SO THE LEFT YOU SEE THE ELEMENTS THAT WERE MEASURED TO RECEIVE THE CREDIT IN THE DESCRIPTION. THE DESCRIPTION THAT WE PUT THERE IS TO TELL YOU WHY WE HAVE THE WHY WE RECEIVE THE POINTS OR WHY WHAT ARE SOME OF THE THINGS THAT WE NEED TO DO TO BE ABLE TO RECEIVE THOSE POINTS? AGAIN, THIS IS ABOUT KNOWING WHERE WE ARE AND WHAT WE NEED TO DO TO CONTINUE TO BE BEST IN CLASS. BASELINE THREE ON

[00:30:04]

BASELINE THREE. WE'RE TALKING ABOUT SUPPLIER DIVERSITY SPENDING.

BEAR WITH ME FOR A FEW MINUTES BECAUSE THIS SLIDE HAS A LOT OF IMPORTANT INFORMATION.

WE WAIT. WE WENT AHEAD AND USED THE SUPPLIER ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE YOU WITH THE NUMBERS. FOR THE LAST FOUR YEARS, WE WANTED YOU TO HAVE SOME COMPARATIVE DATA FOR YOU TO BE ABLE TO SEE WHERE WE STAND AND STOP IN SOME CASES.

WHY? BECAUSE YOU'LL SEE IT REFLECTED HERE.

SO IF YOU LOOK AT TO THE LEFT, WE'RE SHARING WITH YOU WHAT THE TOTAL SPEND WAS, WHAT THE DIVERSE SPEND WAS, AND WHAT THE SMALL SPEND WAS.

WE DID THIS TO SHARE WITH YOU HOW WE WERE ABLE TO ARRIVE AT THE PERCENTAGES THAT YOU'RE SEEING IN ALL OF YOUR GRAPHS.

SO THE RIGHT YOU'RE SEEING IN TERMS OF THE TOTAL DIVERSE SPEND BY YEAR, THE GROWTH THAT WE HAD EVEN WITH COVID IN TERMS OF SUPPLIER DIVERSITY SPEND, UNFORTUNATELY TO THE RIGHT OF AGENCY, THE SMALL BUSINESSES ACTUALLY WENT DOWN AND THAT'S WHERE I WANTED TO SHARE THE TOTAL CORRELATION WITH COVID.

WE KNEW THAT SOME OF OUR SMALL BUSINESSES IN THE COMMUNITY SUFFERED AND WERE NOT ABLE TO KEEP THEIR DOORS OPEN WHEN THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO SERVE FACE TO FACE THEIR CUSTOMER BASE.

THEY DID THE DIVERSE SPEND.

I MEAN, IT'S GOING UP NICELY.

IS THAT DUE TO THE CONSTRUCTION PROGRAMS PRIMARILY? GOOD QUESTION. SO YOU'RE AHEAD OF ME AND I HEAR I LIKE TO SAY THAT IT IS BASED ON I.T.

SPEND, AGAIN, RELATED TO COVID AND IN TERMS OF CONSTRUCTION AND TOTAL CORRELATION WITH FACILITIES, USE OF CARD.

RIGHT. BRINGING YOU A GREAT EXAMPLE OF HOW WE'RE BEING INTENTIONAL ABOUT BRINGING IN DIVERSE SUPPLIERS.

THE SAME THING HAPPENED WITH I.T.

UNDER DR. LUCKETT.

SO WAIT A MINUTE. SO YOU'RE SAYING THE INCREASE IN FISCAL YEAR 2021 ON SMALL BUSINESS SPEND IS BECAUSE OF I.T.? OUR TOP TWO SPENDS WERE RELATED TO I.T.

AND CONSTRUCTION, BUT IN IP, THAT WAS, IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, THAT WAS ONE ONE SMALL BUSINESS GETTING A GOOD CHUNK OF THE ERP CONTRACT.

IS THAT WHAT THAT REFLECTS? I'M TRYING TO MENTION SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT OR NOT.

WELL, THAT WAS THROUGH AN ACTUAL PROCESS WHEREBY THEY USE THE.

SMALL BUSINESS TO ACTUALLY AWARD FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF.

YEAH. SO IT'S NOT LIKE WE'RE USING TEN MORE SMALL BUSINESSES.

IT WAS JUST THIS ONE MINORITY CERTIFIED BUSINESS.

GOT A GOOD A GOOD AMOUNT OF THE CONTRACT.

YEAH. OF THE ERP, THE $60 MILLION CONTRACT.

SO AGAIN WE HAVE A LOT OF WORK WE DO INTO WE DO BECAUSE JUST BECAUSE THE SPEND IS HIGHER, IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT WE SPEND THEM WITH MORE PEOPLE.

IT IS TOTALLY TALKING ABOUT THE ACTUAL SPEND FOR THE DIFFERENT PROJECTS.

YES. JUST NOT.

YOU HAVE ME SPAN.

MINORITY BUSINESS.

WHAT IS THE WORST? SO IN TERMS OF DIVERSE, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE CERTIFICATIONS TO THE RIGHT WHERE YOU SEE SMALL BUSINESS, WHERE YOU SEE VETERANS, WHERE YOU SEE LGBTQ PLUS.

THOSE ARE THE TYPE OF DIVERSE BUSINESSES THAT WE ARE.

IT'S A COMBINATION OF ALL OF THESE THINGS.

OBVIOUSLY, SOME PATIENTS.

YES, BUT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT DIVERSE.

YES. VERSUS ME IS JUST THE ONE CATEGORY.

IT'S THE ONE CATEGORY.

AND WE TOOK THE OPPORTUNITY TO TO THE BOTTOM LEFT, BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH MVP IS ONE CATEGORY, THE CATEGORY IS FILLED WITH SPECIFIC ETHNIC GROUPS.

SO WE WENT AHEAD AND SHARED WITH YOU WHAT THE NUMBERS LOOK LIKE IN TERMS OF MVP.

AT THE SAME TIME, YOU'RE LOOKING AT THE MVP SPEND.

I'D LIKE YOU TO LOOK AT THE GRAPH WITH THE DIVERSE SPEND BECAUSE YOU NEED TO LOOK AT HOW THERE ARE THREE SPECIFIC CERTIFICATIONS THE MVP, THE SBA AND THE WBA THAT ARE NECK AND NECK COMPETING FOR THE SPEND.

YOU'LL SEE THAT YOUR SMALL SPEND IS THE HIGHEST.

[00:35:01]

AND THAT GOES BACK TO WHAT I EXPLAINED BEFORE, THAT IT IS EASIER TO GET THE CERTIFICATION AS A SMALL BUSINESS ENTERPRISE THAN IT IS WITH THE PROCESS FOR THE OTHER CERTIFICATIONS.

WHAT QUALIFIES IS SMALL AMOUNT PER YEAR IN REVENUE, SO YOU'RE GOING TO BE CLASSIFIED ACCORDING TO YOUR NEXT CODE.

SO IF YOU SELL LESS THAN A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MONEY WITHIN THE LAST FISCAL YEAR, LAST THREE FISCAL YEARS. SO FOR EXAMPLE, FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES, ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING, IT WOULD BE IF YOU HAVE SOLD LESS THAN SIX AND A HALF MILLION PER YEAR FOR THE LAST THREE FISCAL YEARS. AND THE AMOUNT VARIES ACCORDING TO THE INDEX CODE AND THAT IS OUR SENIOR DIRECTOR FOR SUPPLIER DIVERSITY.

AND THOSE FIVE STANDARDS ARE SET BY THE SBA, CORRECT? YES. THOSE ARE THE BY THE SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION.

THEY ARE THEY THEY IDENTIFIED THEY IDENTIFY WHAT A SMALL BUSINESS.

VERY SPECIFIC.

QUESTIONS. WHAT? WHAT DO WE HAVE? PROGRAMS THAT ARE HELD TO THE COMMUNITY TO HOW TO DO BUSINESS WITH DALLAS COWBOYS.

SO THAT'S I ANSWER THAT IN THE COMING SLIDE.

BUT WHAT I CAN TELL YOU IS THAT WE'VE BEEN DOING INTERNAL EXPOSE WHERE WE'RE INVITING SUPPLIER SUPPLIERS TO COME IN AND WE TALK ABOUT THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS AND ALSO HOW TO DO BUSINESS WITH DALLAS COLLEGE.

WE ALSO HAVE CHANNEL CHARTS AND MALCOLM MAYO ATTEND EXTERNAL EVENTS OF THE DIFFERENT ORGANIZATIONS, WHETHER IT'S A CHAMBER OR CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION, TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ONCE AGAIN TALK ABOUT HOW TO DO BUSINESS WITH DALLAS COLLEGE.

THE COMPANIES HAVE TO REGISTER.

YES. HERE BEFORE WE MOVE FORWARD.

I KNOW THAT THIS IS A LOT OF INFORMATION.

I KNOW THAT YOU'RE SEEING IT IN THIS WAY FOR THE FIRST TIME, BUT I'D REALLY LIKE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE FACILITIES GROUP FOR THEIR INTENTIONAL EFFORTS WITH SCOTT.

RIGHT. AND ALSO DR.

LARKIN WITH THE EIT INTENTIONAL EFFORTS IN SUPPLIER DIVERSITY.

A LITTLE BIT DEEPER IN TERMS OF THE CONSTRUCTION SPEND.

WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE POP THE PIE CHART TO THE LEFT, YOU'RE GOING TO SEE THAT WE HAVE A PRETTY EVEN SPEND WHEN IT COMES TO SOME OF THE DIVERSE CLASSIFICATIONS THAT WE HAVE TO THE RIGHT. YOU SEE THE DIVERSE SPEND BY CATEGORY AND THIS IS ALL ABOUT CONSTRUCTION.

SO WHEN YOU LOOK AT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES THAT'S TALKING ABOUT THE ARCHITECT AND SET OF THAT TYPE OF SERVICE AS OPPOSED TO THE ACTUAL CONSTRUCTION PART.

SO WHAT WAS OUR TOTAL CONSTRUCTION SPEND WHEN WE GET THESE NUMBERS AND I APOLOGIZE THAT I DIDN'T BRING THIS UP HERE IN AGENDA REVIEW FOR THIS COMMITTEE MEETING.

WHEN YOU TALK ABOUT DIVERSE SPEND, IF YOU CAN TELL US WHAT THE TOTAL SPEND WAS.

JANET, WHEN YOU'RE LOOKING AT THIS GRAPH, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE PROJECTS THAT ARE GOING TO BE TO COME FORWARD A LITTLE BIT.

WHEN WE'RE LOOKING AT THIS GRAPH, WE DIVIDE IT.

WE DECIDED TO DIVIDE THE CONSTRUCTION SPEND IN THE PROJECTS THAT ARE INTERNAL, THAT ARE RECURRING, AND THE PROJECTS THAT ARE GOING TO BE ONE IN A LIFETIME.

LIKE ALL OF THE BUILDING OF THE NEW FACILITIES.

SO THIS IS GOING TO REFER TO ALL OF THE PROJECTS THAT ARE UNDER CBRE IN CONSTRUCTION.

THESE ARE THE NUMBERS FOR 2021.

WE HAD NOT BROKEN GROUND IN A LOT OF THEM.

SO THE CONSTRUCTION SPEND IS ONLY AT SIX $7 MILLION.

AND THIS IS WHY WE'VE SPENT THIS HIGH IN TERMS OF THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES.

ALL OF THAT JOB WAS ALREADY DONE BECAUSE WE ARE READY TO BREAK GROUND.

SO THAT'S WHY YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE HIGHER NUMBERS ON THAT AREA.

OKAY. I APOLOGIZE. I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THAT BECAUSE YOU REFERENCED CBRE, BUT WE THEY HAVE A CONTRACT WITH US ON PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR WHAT IS IT, 200 MILLION, 250 MILLION, 215 ROUNDS. 250 MILLION.

AND YOU REFERENCED 20 MILLION BECAUSE WE HAVE 80 MILLION THAT THEY HAVE SPENT RIGHT NOW, CBRE NOT SEEING ALL OF THE PROJECTS ASSOCIATED.

SO ALL OF THE ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING THAT HAS BEEN DONE FOR MOUNTAIN VIEW FOR CEDAR VALLEY. SO I HAVE TO REMEMBER ALL THE SEVEN CAMPUSES, SO ALL OF THE BROOKHAVEN, ALL OF THE CAMPUSES HAVE ALREADY SPEND ALL THAT MONEY THAT WAS ASSIGNED TO ALL OF THE SERVICES THAT YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE YOU EVEN BEGIN CONSTRUCTION, ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING, ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES. ALL OF THAT HAS TO COME IN AHEAD BEFORE YOU CAN PRODUCE A SET OF PLANS. NOW WE'RE GOING INTO CONSTRUCTION, SO THAT'S WHY THE CONSTRUCTION SEEMS LOW, BUT IT'S NOT REALLY LOW BECAUSE THEY JUST DIDN'T BREAK GROUND.

[00:40:03]

SO NOW IT WILL BEGIN THIS YEAR THAT ALL OF THE FACILITIES ARE COMING INTO CONSTRUCTION.

WE'LL SEE THOSE NUMBER INCREASE, BUT I DIVIDED THEM FOR A VERY SPECIFIC REASON.

THESE ARE PROJECTS THAT ARE GOING TO COME IN AND OUT, SO IT'S DIFFICULT FOR US TO MEASURE WHAT EFFORTS WE'RE DOING.

IF WE TAKE INTO ACCOUNT PROJECTS THAT ARE ONCE IN A LIFETIME PROJECTS, WE HAVE TO REALLY DO BETTER AT OUR CONSTRUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION SPENDING, WHICH IS EVERYTHING THAT SCOTT DOES. SO WE HAVE THOSE DIFFERENTIATORS.

YES. SO OUR IS THE FACILITY SPEND LIKE THE PAINTER, THAT PAINTING COMPANY THAT WAS INTRODUCED TO US TODAY, IS THAT INCLUDED IN THESE THIS CONSTRUCTION SPEND NUMBERS? OKAY. SO THIS IS ALL 2019 BONDS ON THAT FIRST.

YES. WELL, I DON'T KNOW, CSR IS I CAN'T REMEMBER WHETHER YOU JUST PULLED THESE NUMBERS FROM CBRE, BUT THEY GAVE THE THEY GAVE YOU THE FEBRUARY NUMBERS.

YEAH. IT'S JUST IT'S THE $250 MILLION.

I REFERENCED THIS CBRE HAS IT DID NOT INCLUDE THE CONSTRUCTION SCIENCE BUILDING BECAUSE THAT SPENCE HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE AT $35 MILLION WORTH OF CONSTRUCTION.

BUT WE DO IT BY PROJECTS.

AND, YOU KNOW, THAT'S GOING TO BE THE HARD PART WE'LL HAVE TO WORK WITH YOU ON AND WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE BECAUSE YOU CAN'T REALLY LIKE BREAK SOME OF THESE THINGS DOWN BY FISCAL YEAR BECAUSE PROJECTS ARE MULTI MULTI YEAR PROJECT.

BUT THEN WHEN WE BREAK IT DOWN AND WE START UPSETTING THEM TOO MUCH, IT MIGHT GET TOO CONFUSING. SO THAT AND I'VE BEEN TALKING ABOUT THIS, WE WILL FIGURE OUT A WAY THIS THIS IS GOOD START OF WHERE WE NEED TO GO OF GETTING THAT INFORMATION TOGETHER.

SO YEAH, WE'LL DISCUSS HOW TO PROVIDE SOME CLARITY IN TERMS OF WHAT DO WE MEAN BY CONSTRUCTION SPEND. IS THAT FIRST $250 MILLION IN THE BOND MONEY, ETC.? WE CAN TALK ABOUT THAT.

THANK YOU. AND HOPEFULLY WE'LL GET BETTER AT PRODUCING DISTRICT BECAUSE WE'RE JUST TRYING TO MAKE SURE WE ARE BEING AS TRANSPARENT AS WE POSSIBLY CAN.

SO WE'RE LOOKING AT WAYS TO PRODUCE THESE NUMBERS IN A CLEAR MANNER IN TERMS OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, LEARNING AND OUTREACH.

WE HAVE THE CHALLENGE OF MAKING SURE THAT WE ARE PROVIDING THE OPPORTUNITIES TO OUR TEAMS. WE KNOW THAT WE HAD THE CHALLENGE WITH COVID IN TERMS OF DOING IT IN PERSON VERSUS DOING IT VIRTUAL AND CETERA.

AND WE ALSO WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT WE HAD CONTINUOUS LEARNING OPPORTUNITY, WHETHER IT WAS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN OUR PANEL, WHETHER IT WAS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT BEING ABLE TO ATTEND A CLASS OR ONLINE.

AND SO WE WANTED TO MAKE SURE WE HAD ENOUGH OFFERINGS.

SO AS YOU CAN SEE HERE, WE THREW THE BALL FORWARD ABOUT 29 SPECIFIC TRAININGS IN TERMS OF SUSTAINABILITY, 72 WHEN YOU HAVE THE NUMBER OF ATTENDEES, TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA AS TO THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE THAT WERE ENGAGING THROUGHOUT THE COLLEGE IN TERMS OF THE OUTREACH PIECE, WE TALKED SPECIFICALLY ABOUT SUPPLIER DIVERSITY AND WE MENTIONED THE EXPO, THE SUPPLIER DIVERSITY EXPO THAT WE HAD WITH THE SUPPLIERS IN THE COMMUNITY OF THE DIFFERENT CAMPUSES WHERE CONSTRUCTION IS TAKING PLACE.

UPDATE. WE SEE THAT WE HAVE UPCOMING DR.

ROBERT BULLARD, THE FATHER OF ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE.

AND FOR THIS PARTICULAR EVENT, HE'S GOING TO BE TALKING ABOUT THE RIGHT TO EQUAL PROTECTION AND ENFORCEMENT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL LAWS AND USING HIS INSIGHTS OVER THE FOUR YEARS THAT HE'S BEEN IN THIS PARTICULAR TOPIC TO SHARE WITH OUR AUDIENCES.

WE HAD A SUSTAINABILITY TOWNHALL THANK YOU, CHAIR BRAVO FOR HOSTING THAT PARTICULAR EVENT AND WHY.

WE HAVE SEVERAL THINGS TO REPORT.

WE ALWAYS WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT WE'RE SHARING WITH YOU WHERE WE ARE IN TERMS OF THE NUMBERS OF ALL OF OUR URGES.

AND THE GOOD NEWS TO THE LEFT CORNER OF THAT SPACE IS THAT WE HAVE STARTED THAT WE HAVE STARTED THE VETERANS GENE.

WE ACTUALLY HAVE THIS CORNED BEEF GOT PULLED OUT.

HE PULLED OUT. IT'S CALLED RIGHT.

IS ACTUALLY HE KNEW I WAS GOING TO INTRODUCE HIM.

WE ACTUALLY HAVE SCOTT WRIGHT.

HE'S GOING TO BE THE CHAIR FOR THAT PARTICULAR ERG.

AND WE'RE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING THAT GROUP AND THE INITIATIVES THAT THEY BRING FORTH WITH OUR SUPPORT IN TERMS OF THE ERGS IN ACTION.

LAST MONTH WAS WOMEN'S HERITAGE MONTH, AND SO WE WANTED TO SHARE THAT.

WE HAD TO PACK ONE PANEL AND ONE SPECIFIC GUEST SPEAKER.

IN THIS CASE, WE HAD A PANEL TALKING ABOUT WALKING IN HER SHOES.

WE HAVE THREE GREAT WOMEN FROM OUR COMMUNITY, ONE WHICH WAS ONE OF OUR PRECEDENTS.

[00:45:03]

AND THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT THEIR STORY AND BEING VERY CANDID ABOUT WHAT IT TOOK FOR THEM TO REACH THE PROFESSIONAL LEVEL THAT THEY HAVE REACHED AND BEING A WOMAN IN SOCIETY.

WE ALSO LIKE TO THANK CHAIR BRAVO FOR HOSTING THAT PANEL.

NEXT, WE HAVE LIVING AUTHENTICALLY WITH PATTI SMITH, AND THAT WAS A REALLY GREAT INTERVIEW WHERE SHE WAS ALSO VERY CANDID ABOUT HER LIFE'S TRAJECTORY AND WHERE SHE IS TODAY WITH REGARDS TO SUPPLIER DIVERSITY.

WE KNOW THAT TRUSTEE READER ASK ABOUT THE AVAILABILITY AND DISPARITY STUDY.

SO WHERE ARE WE WITH THAT? WE HAVE LISTENED.

WE KNOW THAT YOU WANT TO HAVE RESULTS IN TERMS OF KNOWING WHO IS AVAILABLE IN OUR COMMUNITY TO SUPPLY OUR NEEDS, WHETHER IT'S PRODUCT OR SERVICE.

SO WHERE WE ARE RIGHT NOW IS WE WE MADE WE WROTE THE REQUEST FOR THE PROPOSAL.

YOU TOOK A LITTLE BIT TO WRITE THAT PROPOSAL BECAUSE WE DID A RESEARCH AROUND OTHER PROPOSALS IN TERMS OF DISPARITY AND AVAILABILITY STUDY TO MAKE SURE WE INCLUDED ALL OF THE RELEVANT THINGS THAT WE WANT TO KNOW TO BE ABLE TO PRODUCE, NOT JUST A REPORT THAT WE CAN PUT ON A SHELF, BUT A REPORT THAT WE CAN USE TO PROVIDE ACTIONS TO OUR SUPPLIER DIVERSITY TEAM.

SO WE WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT WHEN WE GET THAT REPORT, WE ARE ABLE TO GATHER WHAT IS THE CAPACITY THAT WE ALSO HAVE TO BUILD TO GET TO THAT LEVEL OF DOING BUSINESS WITH DALLAS COLLEGE AND OTHER OPPORTUNITIES IN THIS COMMUNITY.

THEN WE WENT TO THE PROPOSAL REVIEW WHERE WE REVIEWED FOR SPECIFIC COMPANIES AND WE ALSO DECIDED TO BRING THEM IN FOR AN INTERVIEW, TO HEAR FROM THEM, TO SEE THEM ACTUALLY EXPLAIN THE STEPS AND WHAT IT WOULD MEAN FOR THEM AND THE KIND OF REPORT THAT THEY WOULD PROVIDE TO US FOR US TO UNDERSTAND HOW RELEVANT AND USEFUL INFORMATION WE WERE GOING TO GET AT THIS POINT.

WE HAVE TURNED IN ALL OF OUR SCORES FOR FROM THE INTERVIEW, AND IT'S NOW IN THE HANDS OF PROCUREMENT WHERE THEY'RE DOING THE TABULATIONS AND DOING ALL OF THEIR BEHIND THE SCENES WORK. SO THEN THE SELECTION WILL FOLLOW.

AND THEN WHAT'S THE TIME LINE BEFORE THE BOARD STARTS GETTING SOME ACTIONABLE DATA? MOST OF THE ONES THAT WE LOOKED AT SAID SIX MONTHS.

BUT BY THE END OF OUR INTERVIEW, OUR ACTUAL LIVE INTERVIEW, THEY WERE REALLY AT 12 MONTHS. SO FROM THE MOMENT THAT THE CONTRACT IS EXECUTED, YOU'RE LOOKING AT A MINIMUM OF SIX MONTHS TO A YEAR.

AND I WANT TO SAY I WANT TO SAY THAT I'M LOOKING PROBABLY AT A YEAR.

SO WE'LL PROBABLY BE LETTING HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS WITHOUT AN AD STUDY TO INFORM WHETHER WE ARE ACCESSING THE AVAILABLE MINORITY.

SO WELL.

THIS IS WHERE WE COME IN WITH THE AIR FORCE OF THE SUPPLIER DIVERSITY TEAM.

AND WE HAVE BEEN DOING THIS INTERNAL EXPOS.

WE HAVE BEEN INTENTIONAL ABOUT MAKING SURE THAT THEY HAVE THE CAPACITY AND MENTORING THEM TO HAVE THE CAPACITY AND BRINGING THEM IN SO THAT THEY CAN START TO DO BUSINESS WITH DALLAS COLLEGE.

DAN, I'M LOOKING TO YOU ON THIS PARTICULAR.

YOU KNOW, THERE ARE SOME UNIQUE THINGS ABOUT DALLAS COLLEGE, BUT WHEN IT COMES TO FACILITIES, CONSTRUCTION, YOU KNOW, A BUILDING IS A BUILDING AS A BUILDING.

AND I THINK THAT THERE ARE EXISTING R&D STUDIES DESPITE THE OTHERS THAT WE CAN USE.

AND I PERSONALLY WANT TO SEE THAT DATA BEFORE WE START THIS THING.

HUNDREDS OF MILLION DOLLARS, ESPECIALLY SINCE WE'RE AND IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT.

I MEAN, THIS IS I MEAN, THIS IS SOMETHING WE'VE BEEN ASKING FOR FOR AT LEAST FIVE YEARS.

BUT BUT WE I THINK WE NEED TO HAVE THAT INFORMATION, YOU KNOW, AS WE MAKE DECISIONS ON CONTRACTS FOR HALF A BILLION DOLLARS OF BOND MONEY.

YEAH, NO. GOOD POINT.

CITY OF DALLAS DID A VERY GOOD ONE IN TERMS OF HOW THEY BROKE IT OUT FOR INDUSTRY CONSTRUCTION BEING A LARGE ONE.

DALLAS ISD I THINK THEY'RE JUST GETTING READY TO ISSUE THEIRS.

SO THEY'VE GOT A $3 BILLION BOND PROGRAM THAT THEY'RE IN.

PLUS LIKE A ONE POINT OR 2 BILLION SOMETHING DOLLARS THREE OR FOUR YEARS AGO.

SO WE'VE GOT SOME GOOD DATA.

AND DFW AIRPORT, I DON'T KNOW, WAS THAT THREE OR FOUR YEARS AGO? SO THERE'S SOME GOOD DATA THAT OUR TEAM CAN PULL FROM TO GIVE US THOSE NUMBERS TO INFORM THEN WHAT WE NEED TO DO IN THE BOND PROGRAM.

[00:50:03]

AND THAT'S ONE THING THAT HE'S NOT HERE.

BUT I KNOW JOHN IS TIRED OF ME HEARING WE CAN'T LET ALL OF THESE MILLIONS AND MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF TAXPAYER DOLLARS AND JUST IT'S HARD.

AND YOU HEARD IT OUT THE DOOR WITHOUT MAKING SURE THAT IT'S RETURNING IN SOME RESPECT AND HOPEFULLY AS EQUITABLE AS POSSIBLE WAY TO MINORITY COMMUNITIES.

AND SO I WOULD ENCOURAGE YOU GUYS IN THE CONSTRUCTION FOLKS, I MEAN, FIGURE OUT WHAT OTHER DATA WE CAN USE TO INFORM THE ACTION OF OUR OR SUPPLY OUR TEAM, THE INFORMATION BRINGING US FORWARD LIKE RIGHT NOW.

SO WE CAN'T WAIT WE CAN'T WAIT A YEAR FOR OUR OWN DATA.

WE MIGHT LIKE TO I MEAN, DALLAS IFB IS GETTING READY TO ISSUE THEIRS, I THINK, AT THIS MONTH'S BOARD MEETING.

IF THEY DIDN'T ALREADY.

YEAH, BECAUSE I'M ON THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE, THAT WOULD BE ADVISORY COMMITTEE FOR DALLAS.

I'D BE AND WE MET LAST WEEK AND SO THIS MONTH THEY COULDN'T SHARE THE REPORT WITH US UNTIL THE BOARD HAS SEEN IT.

THE BOARD WILL SEE IT THIS MONTH.

SO WE'VE GOT REALLY FRESH DATA FROM THEM AND THEY'RE ADDING THE STUDY.

CITY OF DALLAS, IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY, DID THEIRS LAST YEAR.

AS A MATTER OF FACT, I WAS TRYING TO SEE IF WE COULD USE ONE OF THEIRS INSTEAD OF US FUNDING ANOTHER HALF 1,000,001.

AND I FORGOT WHAT THE RESPONSE WAS.

THERE WAS A REASON WE SAID YES.

WE TALKED ABOUT THE FACT THAT WE HAVE VERY SPECIFIC NEEDS IN HIGHER EDUCATION AND WE NEEDED TO REVIEW THE AVAILABILITY OF THE SUPPLIERS FOR THE SERVICES AND PRODUCTS THAT WE CONSUME. BUT AGAIN, CONSTRUCTION IS CONSTRUCTION.

CONSTRUCTION, SO WE CAN USE THAT DATA UNTIL WE HAVE OUR OWN.

YEAH, THE CONSTRUCTION IS IS A SUBSET TO YOUR POINT.

IT'S A LARGE PART SPEND THAT WE'RE ABOUT TO ENGAGE IN, BUT WE CAN BRING SOME OF THE DATA POINTS FROM OTHER INSTITUTIONS THAT WE HAVE THAT WE CAN CONSIDER WHILE WE'RE STILL WORKING THROUGH THOSE AS IT RELATES TO THE BOND PROGRAM.

AND WE'LL BE HAPPY TO BRING YOU AN UPDATE DURING OUR NEXT PRESENTATION.

WELL, THE NEXT PRESENTATION ISN'T TILL OCTOBER, AND WE'LL BE BACK.

WE MIGHT YEAH, WE MIGHT BE READY TO LET THE WATER SEE THAT IN THE PRESENTATION BOARD ON THE SPECIFIC CONTRACT.

RIGHT. NEXT FOR YOU TO SEE THE UPCOMING EFFORTS WE MENTIONED AT THE VERY BEGINNING, THROUGHOUT THE THREE FOCUS AREAS, YOU ACTUALLY SEE THEM REFLECTED IN TERMS OF THE PARAMETERS OF THE BOARD'S STRATEGIC GOALS FOR YOUR RECORD.

BUT WE COULDN'T DO ANYTHING THAT WE'D DO WITHOUT OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS.

SO WE WANTED TO GO AHEAD AND SHARE WITH YOU WHAT SOME OF THE RELATIONSHIPS ARE THAT WE STARTED TO BE ABLE TO, TO YOUR POINT, TO BE ABLE TO FIND MORE SOURCES, TO BE ABLE TO GET THE BUSINESSES IN TERMS OF THE CONSTRUCTION, IN TERMS OF OTHER RESOURCES THAT WE SEEK, IN TERMS OF SUPPLIER DIVERSITY, IN TERMS OF SUSTAINABILITY, IN TERMS OF THE EYE YOU HAVE HERE, SOME OF THE ORGANIZATIONS THAT WE ARE ALIGNING OURSELVES TO BE ABLE TO ONCE AGAIN SHOW UP AS BEST IN CLASS WHEN IT COMES TO SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND INCLUSION.

WE KNOW THAT WE COULD NOT DO THINGS WITHOUT THE SUPPORT AND ALSO THE ALIGNMENT WITH SOME OF THE ORGANIZATIONS THAT WE SEE AND WANTED TO SHARE WITH YOU.

HOW MUCH DALLAS COLLEGE IS INVESTING.

AND JUST LIKE SCOTT EARLIER, WE COULD NEVER END A MEETING WITHOUT SHARING A SUCCESS STORY. TO LET YOU SEE FIRSTHAND WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE A SUPPLIER, WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE ABLE TO EARN A CONTRACT IN THE COMMUNITY, AND WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE OFFERED THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE ABLE TO CREATE A RELATIONSHIP, TO BE ABLE TO CONTINUE TO PROVIDE YOUR SERVICE OR PRODUCT TO AN ORGANIZATION.

EXPLAIN THE LINK.

SHE COULD NOT BE ABLE TO BE WITH US.

SO YOU'RE GOING TO SEE HER SUCCESS STORY ON VIDEO.

HELLO, EVERYONE. WE ARE HERE WITH PAUL SULLIVAN FROM THE RIGHT RESOURCE GROUP WHO PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR BUSINESSES AND COMPLETED THE GOLDMAN SACHS 10-K PROGRAMING 2019 RESULTS.

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO HAVE YOU HERE TODAY TO SHARE YOUR SUCCESS STORY WITH OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS. PLEASE TELL US ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH DALLAS COLLEGE FROM BEING PART OF THE GOLDMAN SACHS PROGRAM TO BEING AWARDED A CONTRACT BY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT TO TRAIN SMALL AND DIVERSE BUSINESSES TO WORK WITH OTHER GOLDMAN SACHS ALUMNI.

[00:55:03]

HOW HAS THIS IMPACTED YOUR COMPANY? HELLO THIS MORNING AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALLOWING MY RESOURCE GROUP TO BE SHOWCASED TODAY TO SHARE WITH YOU OUR JOURNEY WITH THE DALLAS COLLEGE.

WE ARE SO HONORED TO BE ABLE TO SHARE THIS STORY, BUT A WONDERFUL JOURNEY, A JOURNEY THAT HAS TAUGHT US HOW TO WORK WITHIN INSTITUTIONS TO GROW OUR BUSINESS, BUT AT THE SAME TIME HELP OTHERS AND BUILD RELATIONSHIPS.

WHEN WE STARTED THIS JOURNEY, IT WAS A JOURNEY THAT ENTAILED WORKING WITH THE INDIVIDUAL CAMPUSES, DOING SOME PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, ASKING TO COME IN AND BE PANEL PANELISTS, TO COME IN AND TALK TO STUDENTS TO HELP ENTREPRENEURS WHO WERE ON AN ENTREPRENEURIAL JOURNEY OR IN A CLASS.

AND AS WE GREW, WE BUILD RELATIONSHIPS.

AND THAT'S WHAT IT'S BEEN ALL ABOUT.

FORTUNATELY ENOUGH, WE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS AND ULTIMATELY BUILD BUILD A SIGNIFICANT CONTRACT THAT HAS BEEN QUITE REWARDING TO OUR BUSINESS.

IT ALL STARTED WHEN WE WERE ASKED TO COME IN AND DO TRAINING FOR COMPANIES, WHICH IS WHAT WE DO RIGHT.

RESOURCE GROUP IS A WORKFORCE CULTIVATING COMPANY THAT REALLY FOCUSES ON LOOKING AT BUSINESSES, CULTIVATE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT THROUGH RECRUITMENT AND RETAINING EMPLOYEES, AND ALL OF THAT IS WRAPPED AROUND TRAINING.

AND SO WE WERE ASKED OFTEN TO COME IN AND TRAIN COMPANIES WHO NEEDED LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TRAINING, AND WE WERE SO HONORED.

BUT WHAT WE KEPT ASKING IS, HOW ARE THESE COMPANIES PAYING FOR THIS TRAINING? WHAT WE LEARNED THAT THEY'RE PAYING THEM THROUGH DIFFERENT STATE FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES THAT IS AVAILABLE TO BUSINESSES IN THE STATE OF TEXAS.

AND WE WORKED THAT AND THAT'S WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENED.

WE REALIZED WE HAD COMPANIES, THE COLLEGE HAD THE CONTRACTS AND THE TRAINING AND THE FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES, AND WE COULD BRING THEM ALL TOGETHER TO MAKE A WIN WIN FOR BOTH THE COLLEGE, FOR THE COMPANY, AND ULTIMATELY FOR BRIGHT RESOURCES.

AND SO WE WERE VERY PROUD TO ASK THAT QUESTION AND THEN GET A CONTRACT.

OUR VERY FIRST CONTRACT WITH DALLAS COLLEGE WAS QUITE SIGNIFICANT.

WE WERE EXTREMELY HAPPY.

BUT I DO EMPHASIZE THAT IT IS A JOURNEY WE DON'T RELATIONS WITH THE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT TEAM AND MOST RECENTLY WITH TIM FABULOUS AND THE ASCEND SAGE INSTITUTE, WHERE WE ARE ABLE TO DO JUST THAT, UTILIZE OUR TRAINING WHERE WE ARE NOW A TRAINING PROVIDER THROUGH DALLAS COLLEGE AND WE ALSO ARE ABLE TO BRING BUSINESSES TO THE COLLEGE TO HELP THEM GET THE TRAINING THAT THEY SO NEED.

THIS ALL EVOLVED AS WE WERE BUILDING, CONTINUING TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS, AND THEN CAME GOLDMAN SACHS.

WHAT A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY UNDER CHRISTIAN THOMAS.

THAT OPPORTUNITY TOOK OUR BUSINESS TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

BUT OH, BY THE WAY, WE GRADUATED IN 2019, DECEMBER 2019, AND WE HAD TO PIVOT IN 2020 BECAUSE OF COVID.

BUT WHAT WE LEARNED AS A BUSINESS GOING THROUGH GOLDMAN SACHS IS THE REASON WHY WE WERE ABLE TO SUSTAIN AND GROW FROM.

AND THAT HAS REALLY HELPED US BECAUSE WE HAD TO PIVOT, WE HAD TO GO ONLINE.

WE HAD TO CHANGE SO MUCH.

THE LEARNINGS THAT WE RECEIVED AND HOW A BUSINESS SHOULD RUN EVEN IN TURBULENT TIMES WAS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL.

I'M HERE TO SAY THAT I DON'T ONLY HAVE BUSINESS PARTNERS AT DALLAS COLLEGE, I HAVE FRIENDS, AND OVER THE PAST 13 YEARS IT HAS BEEN A WONDERFUL JOURNEY THAT I HOPE CONTINUES FOR THE NEXT 20 YEARS AND BEYOND.

AND OH, BY THE WAY, I HOPE THAT THIS MESSAGE HELPS SOMEONE ELSE.

THE THINGS THAT THEY NEED TO REALIZE IS THEY HAVE TO.

IMPATIENT. THEY MUST PRESS THE EAR.

THEY HAVE TO PLAY IT.

THEY HAVE TO BE PROACTIVE.

AND MOST OF ALL, YOU HAVE TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS.

AND I PROMISE THOSE ARE WINNING COMPONENTS TO GAIN IN GRANT OPPORTUNITIES AND CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES WITH DALLAS COLLEGE THANK YOU SO MUCH.

MR. SULLIVAN. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR BUSINESS EXPERIENCE WITH US AT DALLAS COLLEGE.

WE ARE COMMITTED TO PROVIDING EQUAL ACCESS TO BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES TO SMALL AND DIVERSE BUSINESSES IN SUPPORT OF THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF OUR COMMUNITY.

WE WISH YOU AND THE WRIGHT RESOURCE GROUP MUCH SUCCESS IN FUTURE ENDEAVORS.

[01:00:03]

THANK YOU. THANK YOU FOR INDULGING US IN PRESENTING THIS SUCCESS STORY.

AND I PROMISE WE DID NOT PAY HER TO SAY ALL THAT SHE SAID.

SHE VOLUNTEERED ALL OF THE INFORMATION.

AND IN FACT, SHE REALLY HAS BEEN A JOY TO WORK WITH.

AND I WISH KRISTEN WAS HERE TO TALK ABOUT HER STORY.

I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY'RE JUST SAYING.

TRAIN THEM. TRAIN, TRAIN IT.

BUT WHAT ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF TYPES OF.

SURE. WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT IN TERMS OF, FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN SHERRY TALKED ABOUT SOME OF THE COURSES THAT ARE PROVIDED IN A SPECIFIC PROGRAM, THE PROGRAM FOR GOLDMAN SACHS HAS SPECIFIC THINGS THAT THEY THAT THEY PROVIDE WHEN IT COMES TO THE TRAINING.

THEY HAVE SPECIFIC TOPICS.

AND, MALCOLM, YOU'RE HERE AND YOU CAN TALK A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT SOME OF THE TOPICS THAT SOME OF THE SUPPLIERS HAVE TO GO THROUGH TO BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THEIR PROGRAM.

HER PARTICULAR ORGANIZATION WOULD PROVIDE THE TRAINING BASED ON THE TOPICS THAT THEY WANT TO PROVIDE WITHIN THAT PROGRAM.

AND THUS THAT'S ONE OF THE THEMES.

THERE'S ALL TYPES OF TRAINING, BUT WHAT ARE SOME OF THE TOPICS? I MEAN, I GUESS WHAT I'M SAYING, THE HIGHLIGHT COMES AGAIN TOMORROW.

I DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT KIND OF TRAINING THEY OFFER.

SO, SO COME ON.

WHAT THEY DO IS CUSTOMIZED TRAINING.

SO RIGHT NOW, WHAT THEY'LL DO IS THEY'LL COME IN, THEY SEND OUT A SURVEY TO THE SMALL BUSINESS AND THEY'LL ASK THEM WHAT IT IS THAT THEY NEED FOR TRAINING ON, AND THEY'LL BE SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS WITH THAT.

SO RIGHT NOW, THE GRANT IS YOU TALKING ABOUT WHERE TO SEND THOSE TEAMS, THE SMALL BUSINESS GRANT THAT WAS PUT ON THE POTENTIAL WORKFORCE COMMISSION.

SO WE'VE SENT OUT A SURVEY TO THOSE BUSINESS OWNERS TO ASK THEM, WHAT IS IT THAT YOU NEED TRAINING ON AND WITH YOUR EMPLOYEES FOR COMPUTERS, ACCOUNTING AND THINGS ASK FOR.

SO THEY ASK THOSE QUESTIONS AND THEN THEY PROVIDE A PLATFORM TO DELIVER THOSE SERVICES TO THOSE SMALL BUSINESS SO THEY CAN BE TRAINING AT A LOWER COST IN ORDER TO HELP GROW THEIR BUSINESS AT THE TIME. SO BASICALLY, THEY'RE EXACTLY RIGHT.

YES. THE FIRST THING I WANT YOU TO COME IN AND TEACH MY EMPLOYEES HOW TO WORK FOR THAT. THEY BUILD A PROGRAM, TRAINING PEOPLE.

HOW DO OF WORK? CORRECT. THEY HAVE A SUBJECT MATTER.

EXPERTS IN THOSE AREAS WITH AN EMPHASIS ON SMALL BUSINESS, BUILDING THE BUDGET THEY BUILD, THEY COME UP WITH A PROGRAM.

RIGHT. BECAUSE EVERY EVERY BUSINESS IS GOING TO BE DIFFERENT IN REGARDS TO THE EMPLOYEE BECAUSE THEY DON'T ASSOCIATE WELL.

SO THEY NEED TO SAY, WELL, YOU KEEP SAYING, I'M TRYING AND TRYING AND TRYING, BUT THAT'S NOT TELLING ME WHAT KIND OF TRAINING IN YOUR LITTLE YOU ALREADY.

YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT.

SO WE'LL MAKE SURE WE'LL TAKE A NOTE OF THAT.

YEAH. NEXT TIME FEATURE SOMEBODY.

THAT'S A GOOD POINT.

BUT I'M GOING TO LOOK THEM UP RIGHT NOW.

YOU GOT ME HERE. ANY OTHER QUESTION IS GOOD PRESENTATION.

THANK YOU. A LOT OF WORK GOING INTO THIS AND I THINK YOU'RE STRUCTURING IT WELL.

YOU AND YOUR TEAM. I'M GLAD YOU'RE BUILDING UP YOUR TEAM.

I'D LIKE FOR THE TEAM TO STAND.

WE HAVE THE SUSTAINABILITY TEAM, SOME PEOPLE FROM THE SUPPLIER DIVERSITY TEAM AND THE TEAM TO START AND BE ACKNOWLEDGED.

GREAT. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.

GOOD WORK. GOOD WORK.

NOW, DOES ANYBODY HAVE QUESTIONS ON THE COMMITTEE? NOTES FROM THE LAST MEETING OF OCTOBER 5TH?

[5.1. Committee Notes]

ANYBODY VERY GOOD WITH THAT? NO OTHER QUESTIONS. CORRECT ON ANYTHING.

THANK YOU.
