IS THIS SOLUTION GOOD FOR PEOPLE? IS IT GOOD FOR THE PLANET, IS IT GOOD FOR OUR PROSPERITY? IF THE ANSWER TO ANY ONE OF THOSE IS NO THEN IT'S NOT SUSTAINABLE.

132 SCHOOLS HAVE ACHIEVED THAT BUT ONLY ONE ACHIEVED GOALS ON HIS FIRST ATTEMPT.

OUR DEPUTY CHIEF OF FACILITIES OFFICERS SCOTT WRIGHT MET MR. JIMMY AT AN RBCA LUNCH AND LEARNED IN 2019.

SCOTT WAS THERE TO SPEAK ABOUT DOING BUSINESS WITH DALLAS COLLEGE WHEN HE SAID HE WANTED TO DO BUSINESS WITH US, HE ASKED HIM BY SIGNING UP WITH OUR SYSTEM, GET A ROOFING CERTIFICATION AND JOIN A CALL FOR AGREEMENT.

HE FOLLOWED UP AND AWARDED A ROOFING WORK AT RICHLAND.

AT THE POINT OF $750,000.

NOT ONLY DID THE MYRIAD ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION RECEIVE THAT CONTRACT BUT HE RECENTLY CALLED SCOTT TO SAY THAT HE WAS ABLE TO LEVERAGE THE CERTIFICATION OBTAINED AND THE WORK WITH DALLAS COLLEGE TO GENERATE MORE GROWTH FOR HIS COMPANY AND THAT HE WAS CONTACTED BY A MAJOR CONSTRUCTION GROUP TO BECOME A PARTNER.

IN TERMS OF DIVERSITY, WE HAVE BUSINESS OWNERS REPRESENTING VARIOUS RACE AND ETHNICITY GROUPS.

THAT REFLECT THIS COMMUNITY THAT WE SERVE AND THAT INCLUDES A NATIVE AMERICAN WOMAN ON BUSINESS TWO BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES AND A HISPANIC-OWNED BUSINESS.
